Death-verification safeguards
A case, never a checkbox
A report does not release content. Hear Me Later requires an auditable case and deliberately adds time and human review to an irreversible decision.
Evidence and multiple signals
Reviewers collect supporting documents and independent signals where practical. Inactivity, one obituary link, or one person’s statement is not sufficient by itself.
Owner notice and cooling-off
The owner is notified through configured channels and can cancel an incorrect report. A production case cannot release content before the cooling-off period ends.
Human authorization
A permitted reviewer records findings and evidence references before verification. Only messages and grants explicitly tied to verified death become eligible for release.
