Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Hear Me Later collects, uses, protects, and retains information when you use the website, iOS app, recipient portal, or support services.

Information we process

We process account and contact details, authentication and device information, messages and uploaded files you choose to provide, plans and entitlement records, release instructions, recipient access events, support requests, and death-verification evidence.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, store private content, enforce permissions, process releases, deliver communications, verify purchases, prevent abuse, respond to support, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell private message or document content.

Sharing and service providers

Information may be processed by infrastructure, email, notification, payment, security, and support providers acting for us. Content is shared with recipients and delegates only under the permissions and release rules you configure. We may disclose information when lawfully required or necessary to protect people and the service.

Retention and your choices

Retention depends on content state, release obligations, safety records, and legal requirements. You may review devices and delegates, revoke access, export data, and request account deletion. Released recipient records and required audit evidence may be retained as described in the Data Retention Policy.

Security and children

We use access controls, encryption in transit and at rest, logging safeguards, and operational review. No system is risk free. The service is not directed to children under 13, and adults should avoid creating child accounts.
